Enoch City is pleased to announce the promotion of Detective, Jackson Ames to Chief Jackson Ames. The Mayor and Enoch City Council voted Wednesday evening to hire Chief Ames after an extensive recruitment process.  Enoch City wants to thank all those who applied for the Chief position; there were several qualified individuals interested in the position. Mayor, Council and Staff wish to congratulate Chief Ames on his appointment, and express a heart felt thanks to Chief Browning for his hard work, effort, and long hours spent in the service of Enoch City.

NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED

The Enoch City Council passed Ordinance No.2010-09-01-A, an ordinance amending the Enoch City Subdivision Ordinance to change the requirement that secondary water irrigation systems be installed in all new subdivisions, to be reviewed on a case-by-basis and include review by the Water Board. The Enoch City Council passed Ordinance No.2010-09-01-B, an ordinance amending the Enoch City Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 2, Section 2-20 to add the requirement for a solid masonry wall between commercial and residential zones.
