Enoch City Police Department subscribes to the Community Policing Philosophy, which is a community based Police Department. The Police Department utilizes Police Volunteers, generally made up of retired Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Paramedics, in addition to four full time officers and one part time officer.

Job description is available online or may be picked up at the Enoch City Office, 900 E Midvalley Rd, Enoch, UT. Qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in the related field, with 3-5 Years Management Experience and POST Cat 1 Certification. Must understand and have experience with Municipal Budgeting processes as related to a Police Department Budget. Must be willing to live in the incorporated limits of Enoch City, and demonstrate prior positive community involvement. A Spanish/Bi-Lingual Candidate with experience using the Spillman reporting system is a plus. Salary is in the $40,000 range, dependant on qualifications and includes an excellent benefit package. Submission deadline is July 15, 2010 by 4:00 p.m.

Police Chief Job Description
Enoch City Corporation is accepting applications for the position of Chief of Police; Enoch has a population of approximately 6500. Enoch City operates under a Mayor-Council form of government. The Police Chief is under the direct supervision of the Enoch City Mayor.
The Chief of Police serves as the Chief Law enforcement officer and the duties include supervision of three full time, one part time police officer as well as one full time Animal Control officer and two part time shelter technicians. The Police Chief also supervises Crossing Guards and additional auxiliary police organizations within the city of Enoch.
