The City Dumpsters at 4854 North 600 East have been a great benefit for the Enoch City residents for many years. This has previously been a free service provided to the residents of Enoch City because we are not charged by the Iron County landfill and we have our own roll-off truck to move the dumpsters. A short time ago, our roll-off truck finally gave up and repairs would cost more than purchasing a newer truck. The dumpsters were closed for a period of time and then with the help of the Iron County Landfill, we were able to open on Saturdays. Beginning Monday, July 18, 2022 we will have our own "less-used" roll-off truck and will continue the service with the following schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 6:00 pm,
Tuesday morning from 7:00 to 9:00 am,
and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 7 am to Noon
This service is only available to Enoch City residents with a 6-month pass obtained from the City office before dumping. More information can be obtained by calling the City office during regular business hours at 435-586-1119.
To maintain this service, $1.50 is being added to the existing $4.00 Landfill Fee that is already in place.

Many questions have been asked about the flooding and how to get help. The "Storm Damage Reporting" and "Volunteer Hours Reporting" on the city website are to assess the damage and submit information to the Utah Division of Emergency Management. The Division reviews the data and if certain thresholds are met, can request the Governor to declare a State of Emergency. Then, FEMA obtains data from the application and updates to determine to what extent they can help. Typically, infrastructure needs are met and SBA loans are provided to landowners. Details can be found on the city website home page, "Residential Assistance Fact Sheet" link.
