Enoch City resident, Jen Johnson, has committed her time & energy to providing diapers to families in need.
You can being diapers of any size to the Enoch City offices at 900 East Midvalley Road. Diapers will be provided to those families who are in need. Many questions have been asked about the flooding and how to get help. The "Storm Damage Reporting" and "Volunteer Hours Reporting" on the city website are to assess the damage and submit information to the Utah Division of Emergency Management. The Division reviews the data and if certain thresholds are met, can request the Governor to declare a State of Emergency. Then, FEMA obtains data from the application and updates to determine to what extent they can help. Typically, infrastructure needs are met and SBA loans are provided to landowners. Details can be found on the city website home page, "Residential Assistance Fact Sheet" link.

Crews are 15% finished with the project. Here's a roundup of the project impacts and activities. This afternoon eastbound Midvalley Road will be opened and traffic will be flowing in a normal pattern. Starting Wednesday night, June 10, traffic control personnel implemented a traffic detour on westbound Midvalley Road at 600 East. Traffic will travel north to Churchfield Lane and then back to SR-130. This will allow for additional storm drain and utility upgrades and the completion of the temporary roundabout. Traffic on SR-130 near the new roundabout will be moving through a slight curve to the West giving additional space to crews working on westbound Midvalley Road. More excavation work will be intermittent on SR-130 as crews work on the shoulders of the road. Building the new northbound off-ramp at Exit 62 will be starting in the coming weeks. Remember to put your phone down, be alert and reduce your speed. Environmental crews have installed and will maintain environmental protections for the duration of the project. Crews are working from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021*. *Schedule is subject to impacts from weather, supply-chain disruptions and other unforeseen circumstances. |
