Utah Code, Chapter 10-9a is the Land Use & Development Act (LUDMA), which gives the authority to cities and counties to regulate the orderly development of land. The Utah State Legislature makes changes to these rules every year and we are required to comply.
Enoch City's mission is "to preserve the rural character of the community, promote sound land use decisions for residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial and public uses. Areas for these uses need to be established and located to enhance community character, provide reasonable opportunities for growth and economic development, preserve natural resources and enable the City to provide necessary public services in an efficient and cost-effective manner."
